 In Union there is Strength. Are you a member? Lodge Local 1069 is more than just a union*. At this lodge, differences in genre and location are left at the door. We're here to promote all Door County music, from folk in Sturgeon Bay to electronica in Gills Rock. Wherever you hail from and whatever you play, we're here to back you up. It's about organizing for our Door County scene. Artists in Door County are uniquely influenced by our physical and cultural surroundings. We feel it's high time to get together and hit the air.

It's as easy as submitting an offer to appear on our show. We have an ear for anything as long as it's original: if you scratched a lyric on the back of a bus pass or arranged a killer cover, we want to hear it. We also want your suggestions: who you want to hear, how much you want to learn about them, where to hear their music, events that support local musicians and more. The suggestion box can never be too full.
There aren't any dues to pay - you just need to be willing to put yourself out there and be heard. In other words, you keep your cash as long as you share your talent. It's a win-win deal. Lodge Local 1069 airs Wednesday nights at 9. Be sure to check back often to vote for guests, hear new tunes, and watch the list of union members grow. *Okay, we're not an actual union. It's more of a symbolic thing. We'll still print you a nifty card if you really want one. |
